Purchasing Your Puppy

Revised 6/1/08

The first question we always try to ask someone that is interested in a Mastiff is: Do you realize how BIG these dogs are full grown? We just want to be sure that your lifestyle and home "fits" into the Mastiff breed. We recommend going to the AKC website at http://www.akc.org/breeds/recbreeds/mastif.cfm and researching the breed, standards and temperament. They are the best dogs ever, but are not for everyone. Mastiffs are not for people who love to jog and run a lot. They love exercise, and need it, but love to be lazy most of all. Due to their size they make great property protectors, but will usually greet strangers rather than scare them off. Mastiffs should not be aggressive. If raised with cats and smaller dogs, they will get along great with other animals. We have 7 other dogs, 10 Horses, 12 Barbadoe Sheep and Black Angus cattle that are all on our farm. Our family & friends play and love all over our dogs and they love it. We have several books we can recommend also. Just like any other animal, every dog has a different personality, but should still be of good nature and dignity. If after all your research, you are still interested in a Mastiff, we can hold a puppy for a $200 non-refundable deposit. We do not accept deposits until the puppies are 2 weeks old and we do not accept deposits on future litters. We usually sell our puppies for $1000-$1500 plus cost of transportation.  We accept cash, cashiers check, money order.  The full balance plus any shipping charges must be received 7 days before shipping. We will not be able to let your puppy go until your payment clears our bank and yours. If coming to personally pick up your puppy, please bring cash, or send cashiers check or money order seven days in advance. (Sorry, but this has been a lesson we have learned the hard way.)  If you have any other questions regarding payment, please contact us. Thank you.
