Blue is a bundle of joy with energy to spare. He rolls over for belly rubs, lets out little excited whines, and wags his tail like it’s running a race. Brussels Griffons are known for their expressive personalities and deep bonds with people, and Blue is a perfect example of this incredibly special breed. He’s silly, affectionate, emotionally attuned, and ready to make it his life’s goal to brighten his human’s day, every day.
Around here, Blue is jokingly called Mr. Boundaries because he knows how to set them with the bigger pups, including his brother Jay. He loves to play but doesn’t enjoy when things get too rough. Since he’s small but feisty, the bigger pups sometimes toss him around more than he’d like. When that happens, out comes his tiny growl and big attitude. He gives them the business and, once they’ve gotten the message, he saunters off with his little tail nub held high.
Recently, we switched him to the smaller puppy group for playtime, and he’s thriving there with pups closer to his own size. We also updated his housing. His brother Jay and his best buddy Gabriella now share a pad, and Blue rooms with Josette, Cheeto, and Frito.
