Scully (J.J. the Maltipoo)

Scully went home with a big time dodgers fan for a dad who named him after famous announcer Vin Scully! This cuddly little guy probably can’t imagine a better way to spend an afternoon than cuddled up with very own humans, cheering for his family’s team. 

His new parents have quite the life set up for him. He has a completely enclosed doggie run to keep him safe while still enjoying the outdoors and fresh air all summer long - especially now that he has a fresh new haircut. 

Looking AND staying cool. 

We love it. 

Clearly this very good boy is in very good hands with his loving mom and dad. They remember their previous Maltipoo the “beloved Lizzy” very fondly and with a little bit of sadness. It simultaneously breaks and warms our hearts to see how much they love their furry family members and miss them when they’re gone. 

We know Skully, formerly our little J.J., will be deeply loved and well looked after. 

We couldn’t ask for more.

J.J. is as affectionate as they come. He can be strong willed but ironically he’s also very well behaved when guided with a firm, loving hand. He was initially very scared at bath time before his photoshoot, but after a brief conversation and some comforting, he powered through like a little champion. He sat quietly and let me scrub his thick fluffy hair clean, even sitting obediently as I rinsed his face. He showed a lot of trust as I rinsed him using the handheld sprayer around his nose (the stuff of puppy nightmares). 

He is very fond of his brother MooMoo, and while they eventually may need to part ways to start their own adventures, this indicates he will do very well in a multi-pet household. He is very affectionate and loves deeply, so he may struggle with a little separation anxiety, but he is very intelligent, and I'm convinced he understands when you talk to him. A few gentle conversations with lots of love, reassurance, and cuddles, and this little angel will do just fine. Just like at bath time.

J.J. has a cute little Maltipoo momma and a handsome Maltese daddy, making him 3/4ths Maltese and 1/4th Poodle and a hypoallergenic little pup.
