Our weight estimates are made using a chart that we have historically found to be accurate. Using a puppy's current weight and age, we can predict their size at one year with reasonable precision. Rather than take our word for it though, we encourage you to take the information we provide (date of birth, weight, date weighed) and look online to verify our estimates against available puppy weight calculators.

We do our best to be accurate, but both we and any puppy weight calculator online is limited by the information available at the time. This means any weight prediction becomes more accurate with age. Puppies are living creatures who are each unique, special, and sometimes unpredictable. There have been times where they have astonished us in both directions (big and small). We do our best, but we cannot guarantee that an individual puppy will be a certain size any more than a doctor can measure a small child and guarantee their adult height. If you prefer not to take the chance, ask us about our available adults dogs who are up for adoption. Their size is 100% guaranteed.
