Dreamy is a great example of why early neutering is so very important to prevent the development of marking behavior. We had him neutered, but we must have missed puberty by just a little bit because he is a macho little man who, at times, compulsively pees on things to mark his territory. He can't seem to help himself.
Fortunately, male doggy diapers called "belly bands" allow for us to have a harmonious living situation in spite of his persistent piddling propensities. Whenever he comes back in from being outside, he patiently waits (sometimes even raising one leg to help) as we suit him up with one of his many very fashionable weenie accessories. We love this little monster - no matter what.
