Icy's mom is a very sweet Maltipoo named Gracie whose gentle personality and hypoallergenic qualities he inherited. But he takes after his Maltese daddy in both looks and charm. The combination of the two makes him 3/4ths Maltese and 1/4 Maltipoo.
His pure white coat is luxuriously soft and thick, but, like many white dogs, his tears and saliva leave a rosey tint wherever they dry. Careful grooming will be required to keep him looking his best. Fortunately, he is extremely cooperative and holds very still while having his face groomed, particularly around his big, puppy-dog eyes. He held even more still for his bum trim (one of the glamorous parts of life around the doghouse). He sat with his little front paws stretched forward and his booty up in the air, not moving a muscle.
