Maddie, now named India went to a lovely couple who had adopted Bear from us earlier in the year. Bear joined their family, quickly becoming close friends with his much bigger and much older brother Indie. Indie's name was chosen because he was born on July 4th, Independence day.
Sadly, Indie crossed the rainbow bridge just a few short months after Bear joined the family. His parents came to us once more, this time looking for a little buddy for Bear. I suggested little "Maddie", not knowing what had gone on or about Indie's birthday. What a serendipitous coincidence when she turned out to be born the same day as their Indie. They chose the name India in tribute to their sweet boy who they certainly miss dearly.

Maddie found the lights of the studio quite intimidating, so she appears a bit shy in her photos. In reality, she's a sassy little thing who loves to play. Adopt this little dark cloud of curls for a lifetime of non-shed good times.
