Kiki has the silliest Brussels personality. She is smart and sassy but submissive. She uses her paws like hands and especialiy likes using them to bat playfully at my toes in a game we play. I tiptoe and shuffle around her and she chases my feet, her bum in the air and her chest down low in the puppy play pose as she swings her little front paws, trying to smack the top of my foot with her tiny toebeans. It's adorable.
Both Kiki and her sister Kylie were seen by the vet due to small hernias. These are common for Brussels Griffons and often do not require any intervention. In many cases, puppies simply outgrow them. Our vet thinks this will likely be the case for Kiki and Kylie but recommends that they be reevaluated at their spay. If needed, hernias can be fixed very easily at that time.
