Princess Peanut is the smallest available female in her litter. She underwent a growth spurt recently that seems to have slowed. Based on her weight of 2lbs flat on 5/15, her updated weight estimate is just 6.5-8.5lbs keeping her firmly in the toy category.
We named her Princess Peanut for two reasons. She's just a wee little thing so Peanut seemed almost perfect on its own! But she also has a little white on her chin and chest. This is highly reminiscent of her English Toy Spaniel ancestors who were the beloved pets of the British kings just a few centuries ago. She wears it proudly as part of her heritage because she is, indeed, a perfect little princess.
