Everyone has heard that it takes a village to raise a child. Well Kellie's village came together in support of her after she tragically had to put down her beloved baby boy Stevie Wilson. Stevie was a truly special pup. She and he went through a lot together and losing him, especially in such a difficult way, was incredibly hard.
Kellie began her search for another pup to welcome into her still healing heart. She ran into scam after scam and narrowly avoided losing money due to the warnings of her wonderful family and friends. Even coworkers (a special thank you to Dr. Tarris) at the hospital where Kellie works as a nurse were helping her look. Finally, her brother came across our website (shout out to him up in Oregon) and sent it to her. Then her friend Cassandra facetimed us to see Ruby and confirm that we did indeed have her before sending a deposit. And finally, her good friend Linda drove the several hours with her to pick up little Ruby after a long night shift at the hospital. So many people played a part, some even contributing financially, in helping unite Kellie and Ruby. We are touched and honored to have been a part of this love story.
Kellie must be a truly wonderful person to have so many people looking out for her with such love and care. We are positively overjoyed that she adopted our sweet Ruby and can't imagine a better match for them both. Kellie and her loved ones have welcomed Ruby into their beautiful little village where she will be looked out for - just like her mom - with all the love and care that we could ask for.
This is Ruby, a sweet and bashful girl with captivating, soulful eyes. Her gentle nature is evident as she eagerly rolls over for belly rubs at the slightest reach. Ruby's petite stature adds to her charm, with an estimated weight of only 6-7lbs. This little gem is ready to bring sweetness and affection into a loving home.
