Shadow has a stunning dark coat with multidimensional tones that shimmer in the light. She’s quiet, easygoing, and incredibly photogenic, even if she didn’t offer much variety during her photoshoot. She sat perfectly still, only moving when I moved her, which was both a relief and a bit of a letdown after wrangling her sister Sienna.
Shadow may not have served up dramatic poses, but she also didn’t try to leap into my lap eighteen times. She’s calm, cuddly, and likely to be a perfect lap pup for Netflix marathons or long car rides. If you’re looking for a little more sass and sparkle, check out Sienna or Scout. But if you want a mellow, velvety sweetheart who’s always down to chill, Shadow might be your girl.
